Although still a bit on the dumb side, this version of Zoru is not as blindingly stupid as his comic counterpart, and has shown much better control over his fire powers, developing a number of unique techniques with them, such as creating a sword out of fire and releasing various fire spirits in the forms of animals. He also wields a staff called Vecalibur that has the ability to change into a sword. In addition, his Saiyan blood gives him access to a number of transformations, each increasing his power. Considering his parents were killed at a young age, Zoru adjusted very well to normal life, even marrying a girl with the power to freeze time named Aglica, and having a daughter named Eve. He sacrificed his life, however, by continuing to fight an enemy despite the fact that it was raining (due to his fire demon blood, Zoru cannot touch water). He now fights as a spirit partner to the shaman Avid, one of the few people who can communicate with him as a ghost.
