Cicysp was an ordinary human until Lurid Malevo attempted to open a doorway to the Demon Realm - this interdimensional pathway's influence granted Cicysp telepathic powers. He later joined Techno and Amethyst to help stop Malevo from succeeding at his goal. At first, he could only hear thoughts, and he had no filter - he could hear every thought around him all at once - but he has honed his powers to the point of being able to tune out the thoughts he doesn't wish to hear, and being able to send his thoughts to whomever he desires as well. In addition, he has the ability to conjure a powerful net of psychic energy, called the Mafukan, which nothing can escape from without his will. Cicysp is a strong man, though only compared to a regular human (he's one of the weakest cast members, next to Sieve and Ametrine) - because of this, when faced with the powerful foes the cast tends to face, he can seem a bit cowardly, but when push comes to shove, Cicysp will stand up and fight.
