Originally hailing from medieval England, Chival is a knight who was mysteriously sent 620 years into the future. He is unable to return back until he masters all of the powers of his Dodecalogue sword, which holds 12 blades within it. At present, he has uncovered 10 of the blade's 12 powers, granting him such abilities as creating explosions, making eight clones of himself, taming wild animals, and turning invisible. In addition, Omega, a spirit sent to Chival to assist him in discovering his blade's powers, has granted Chival various abilities that draw on his own energy, such as forming a forcefield or forming an energy disc that he can ride atop. Chival is a very kind soul, but, being a knight, is intensely loyal to whomever he calls master, and will selflessly defend the innocent. He speaks very formally, and in a slightly medieval tone, though he has quickly adapted to modern semantics. He is currently in a romantic relationship with Yukira, though they are not married.
