Chris is the village idiot of the comic, but due to his naivety, Chris has what seem to be primitive Author powers, which he uses to pop in and out of the comic whenever and wherever he wants. Due to having been hunted down by a group of ninjas who had mistaken him for their leader, Chris harbors a permanent fear of ninjas (though he often does not recognize actual ninjas as such.) He wields a large staff-like weapon, but it is unknown whether he can actually fight or not. Probably not.
